More Agents Are Switching Brokerages

With improving housing inventory, the Relitix Agent Movement Index rose in Jan., a trend that indicates real estate agents appear more confident about changing firms.

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. – The Relitix’s Agent Movement Index shows that real estate agents are switching brokerages at a faster rate than in 2024 after staying put when housing inventory was low.

With growth in the housing market improving this year, agents are more confident about switching firms.

The monthly AMI value finished at 93.6 for January with a seasonally adjusted value of 91.5. The December values were revised upward to 73.5 and 89.8, respectively.
