Fla. Webinar to Focus on Condo Regulations

On March 16, an online webinar called “Records Access – What You Should Know!” will be hosted by DBPR reps, Fla.’s condo ombudsman and the Fla. Bar.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – An online educational webinar on Florida’s condo regulations will take place on Thursday, March 16, from noon to 1 p.m. Realtors®, unit owners, board members, prospective buyers, and Floridians in a related field are invited to join in.

The webinar – Records Access – What You Should Know! – is hosted by representatives from:

  • The Education Section of the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes (CTMH) – a part of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR)
  • Office of the Condominium Ombudsman Spencer Hennings
  • The Planned Development Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, featuring Bryony Swift

In addition to Hennings, the webinar will include other lawyers, including Nicole Price with Icard Merrill, and Bryony Swift with Porges, Hamlin, Knowles & Hawk, P.A.

The group promises to discuss “some of the Division’s most requested education topics … an informative presentation where the Division’s jurisdiction is noted.” It will also focus on some common topics that fall outside DBPR oversight.
