Home prices in most U.S. cities rose at a slower pace when looking at the year-end in November.

An analysis of that past year showed that the slow increase was affected by a then weaker economy and housing inventory shortage.

New household formation was also weak.

Florida, and the cities of Miami and Tampa, in particular demonstrated a stronger growth than the majority of urban areas.
