How to Use Infographics for Marketing

Real estate pros can use infographics to help “visually illustrate complex ideas or data sets” so they’re easier for consumers and potential customers to understand.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – ProSource Media owner Zach Parker writes that infographics “are effective marketing tools for real estate professionals because they allow you to visually illustrate complex ideas or data sets to make them easier to understand.”

Real estate infographics can be categorized as statistical (visual), informational (relevance), process (procedural), and hybrid (combinations of any of the above three types).

Parker recommends Canva as a tool agents can use to leverage infographics without taking a course or outsourcing the job to a designer.

“Canva is a drag-and-drop infographic builder that makes the process of creating professional infographics easy,” he writes. “The free version has plenty of features to get you started, and the pro version gives you access to millions of stock images and templates.”

Real estate professionals can use infographics for several purposes, including illustrating housing market trends using information from various data sources; filling in knowledge gaps with infographics on such things as how to stage your home and first-time buyer checklists; providing visual representations of step-by-step processes like how to buy a home; and making comparisons, such as rent vs. buy or median days on market for staged vs. non-staged homes.
