Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show | Are You Ready to Rock the Boat?
What better place to hold the International Boat Show than Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America?
It’s about that time of the year again for the highly anticipated yachting event of the season in what better place than Florida’s Yachting Capital. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is hosting its 54th year exhibiting a variety of boats and sea vessels. They will include high performance boats, cabin cruisers, flats, motor yachts and of course the elegant super yachts. With more than 1200 exhibitors over six locations and roughly three million square feet, there is so much to see and do. The exhibitor displays create custom-made, in-water sculptures ranging from 400 to 10,000 square feet of temporary floating designs for sale or view. Something that will be new to the show this year is an exotic 228-foot exhibition mega yacht with a luxurious club-like atmosphere where you can relax with a cocktail in their lounge while enjoying panoramic views of the show. On this one of a kind mega yacht, they will offer fine art and jewelry for purchase. Other attractions at the event include IFGA’S school of Sport fishing, The Blue Wild Dive Show and live musical entertainment. Don’t forget to stop at one of the show’s six tents ranging in sizes from 20,000 to 70,000 square feet of merchandise for every boater’s needs. Top off your night with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the rooftop of the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach on opening night at 7 p.m. The boat show starts October 31st and goes through November 4th. It is located at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center.
