Affordability Offsets Buying In South Florida

Currently, the average South Florida home is approximately $270,000.

Out of 25 metropolitan areas, only Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and New York had greater average values (RealtyTrac).

Least affordable homes were found in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

However, buying here in these countries still outweighs renting.

Freddie Mac also points out that over all, South Florida’s housing market continues to improve.

The most affordable cities include St. Louis and Minneapolis.
