Mike has been actively involved with Florida real estate for the last fifteen years since relocating to Boca Raton in 1994. A Los Angeles native for fifty years, he witnessed the transformation of the value of real estate in southern California and he immediately predicted a similar forecast for the south Florida market. Within three months of becoming a Florida resident, he obtained his Realtor's license. Mike is a former commercial airline pilot whose forty year career with Continental Airlines spanned the globe. At twenty-three, he became the youngest pilot to earn the coveted "Captain Wings" and logged more than thirty-seven thousand hours of flying during his distinguished career. After his mandatory retirement from the airlines in 2003 as the most senior pilot (Seniority No.1), Mike dedicated his full attention to the burgeoning real estate market and obtained his Broker's license. With contacts worldwide acquired during his airline tenure, in 2007 he opened Florida's first southeastern franchise of Engel and Voelkers, a boutique German real estate company, specializing in upscale properties, with more than three hundred offices in twenty-six countries and five continents. He personally invested in numerous properties throughout Florida and was also active in selling pre-construction properties throughout the state. With his international marketing background, he truly brings a new dimension to real estate in the Fort Lauderdale area. Mike's personal warmth and engaging leadership skills underscore his commitment to Galleria International Realty and the Fort Lauderdale real estate community. In his leisure time, Mike enjoys piloting his RV-7 experimental aircraft and as an accomplished sailor, maintains an avid interest in sailing exotic destinations. |
